we care

From the coffee and tea we serve, to the brands we stock on our Salon shelves, right through to how we recycle (5 different bins and counting!), we’re committed to supporting local and doing our part for the planet.

That’s why you’ll be sipping on T2, Industry Beans and Everyday Coffee whenever you visit us, and why our product range is tightly curated to only those who tread lightly, and give back.

WE’RE A PROUD MEMBER OF SUSTAINABLE SALONS

Each time you visit Donna Sheridan, your service bill will include a small green service fee of $3 that goes towards our commitment to being a sustainable salon.

Sustainable Salons is the first, comprehensive resource recovery program designed for the salon environment. Sustainable Salons recycles and repurposes up to 95% of salon waste. In fact, we have 5 different recycling bins, into which we separate as much waste as we can—daily. 100% of the profits generated from these recycled materials are donated directly to charity.

So far, Sustainable Salons has helped us save 358,000 kg of materials from landfill; provided 100,000 meals to those doing it tough in our communities, and collected upwards of 43,000 ponytails towards wigs for cancer and alopecia sufferers.

The organisation also offers purposeful work for people with a disability, and gives our salon members a strong voice in the community to fight for a better future for all.
